  • Website usage data: IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, pages visited, and time spent on pages.
  • Analytics data: We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymised, privacy-focused website usage metrics. Cloudflare Web Analytics does not use cookies and does not track individual users across sites.

Information We Do Not Collect

  • Web3Forms: Form submissions on our website are processed through Web3Forms, a third-party form handling service. Web3Forms receives the data you submit (e.g., name, email, message) and forwards it to us. Web3Forms’ privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
  • Cloudflare: Our website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and uses Cloudflare Web Analytics. Cloudflare processes certain technical data (such as IP addresses) as part of delivering and securing our website. Cloudflare’s privacy practices are governed by their own privacy policy.
  • Legal requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law, court order, or governmental regulation, or if we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.

8. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by applicable law. Specifically:

  • Contact form submissions: Retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless an ongoing service engagement exists.
  • Threat assessment submissions: Retained for up to 24 months after the last interaction, unless an ongoing service engagement exists.
  • SEO audit submissions: Email address and website URL retained for up to 12 months after the audit is delivered.
  • Service engagement records: Retained for the duration of the engagement plus 7 years, in accordance with Canadian business record retention requirements.
  • Website analytics data: Cloudflare Web Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised. We do not retain personally identifiable analytics data.

When personal information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymise it.

Under PIPEDA and applicable provincial legislation, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

  • Access: You have the right to request access to the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correction: You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal information.
